Odoo Implementation in Dalba Group for Trading

Dalba Group is the one which should share in the economical improvement to provide the society surrounded and to get the advantages of the new wave of high technology. Dalba Group provides many activities; like in the agricultural career you will find that one of their group produces the most important vegetables which are necessary for feeding the local market and produces also kinds of animal foods which is rich in the most important healthy materials and vitamins improving the animal wealth.

In the industrial career their group has factories for producing thermo insulation materials and packing materials by the co-operation with SABIC company which feeding the factories with the raw materials which are environment friendly materials.

In the constructions career as well Dalba Group providing the concern companies with the raw materials for the constructions such as blocks, interlock and many other kinds of concrete products.

Also, Dalba Group shares in providing of water resources by drilling the wells with variant depths by depending on the most new high technology drilling experiences and equipment from the most famous suppliers in the world which have an ISOO registration to give the best quality. In the trading career as well Dalba Group considered as one of the agents for the biggest companies in the world.

What was the reason that made them choose Odoo ERP?

Dalba Group is based on more than 10 companies and having different nature of businesses. They were using multiple systems in their organizations and seeking to merge all their businesses under one roof organized system and manage their business more smoothly in single pattern of reporting and user end experience. Also they wanted to do the calculation for resource and assets costing in case of sharing between multi companies and get exact results so they can get exact financials by each business wise.

What is interesting about this project?

The most interesting part in this project is to handle multi business scenarios under single nature of module. The sale process for agriculture and manufacturing is totally different and we merged it via customization by business nature wise and customization respectively. Also they have 3 manufacturing companies and we setup their workflows by each business process wise. Also user management was a very big challenge in order to apply restrictions for specific forms and allow them for specific access rights between multi companies.

What was customized and implemented in Odoo?

1- Chart of account and analytical account by hierarchical wise.

2- Financial Reports as per their requirements with customization in default financial reports of Odoo.

3- Standard report with 360 degree filtration and impact of customization on it.

4- Discount management by Percentage, Fixed and Global discount on sale order and purchase order with affect of discounted prices on Journal Entries.

5- HR Customization in Employee and Contracts as per KSA Labor Law.

6- Recruitment, Loan management, Deductions, Rewards, Air Tickets, EOS, Family data management, Appraisal forms and custom calculations,Attendance computation as per Labor Law policies.

7- Leaves management and policies as per Labor Law and its calculation with ticket request, payment for leaves and Leave return for the reconciliation with requested leaves.

8- Chart of account and analytical account by hierarchical wise.

9- Asset management with Capital expense and its impact on existing asset on running state.

10- Financial Year closing with automated closing and opening Journal entries.
