What was the reason that made them choose Odoo ERP?
Cotton Home were willing to manage their business on Odoo. They had no inventory management with correct valuation and financial accountability was not accurate. They needed to manage the Purchasing in a professional way with proper inventory management and wanted to deploy an integrated POS solution where they can check and manage their stock for current branch/store and also check the inventory of another stores directly from centralized POS.
What is interesting about this project?
Generally, it was a very simple retail project we faced challenges in POS customization and barcode scanning and designing through multiple hardware. Also they have different type of seasonal promotions which we designed for them according to their requirements. As well as the sale persons selection on each order to track their provided target for their commission calculation.

1- Add Branches, Global Discounts, Promotions, Notes, Voucher, Combo Packs offers, Loyalty Members and Sale Persons order tracking
2- Promotions like: Discount each amount total order, Discount each Product Category, Discount on Product Quantity, Buy Pack of products and get free item, Buy Pack Products and get Discounted Product, Sale Off Products, Discount on Lowest Price Product, Multi Buy with Fixed Discount, Buy minimum Quantity and get Free Product, Discount % on First Order, Buy n items get Free Quantity, Buy 1 get 1 Lowest Price item free.
3- Branch wise printer customization.
4- Branch-wise Invoice receipt customization.
5- QR Code implementation on POS receipt.
6- Restrictions and Validations for each button on POS screen.
7- Return mechanism with reversal of stock in same branch.
8- Custom sales reports with profitability and stock valuation.
9- Payment method wise payment tracking by each branch wise.
10- Automation process for VAT calculation and submission as per ZAKAT requirements.
The project requirements were based on retail business process and Cotton Home has a business of Furniture and home items retailing. After Odoo Implementation they achieved their goals related to operations management and able to handles their international imports with Landed cost and get proper value of the items and get accurate financial reports with tax submission.
