Bin Dayel Contracting, with the grace of God and its outstanding performance, has won the approval of most government agencies and local and international consultants working in the Kingdom.

The quality of our work lies in our selection of distinguished projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including, but not limited to (Prince Salman Social Center, King Saud University – College of Computer, Manarat Riyadh Complex, Association for Disabled Children in Riyadh, Ministry of Defense and Civil Aviation, King Fahd Medical City, University of Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University and the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training) and many other projects.

What was the reason that made them choose Odoo ERP?

Bin Dayel Contracting were using multiple systems on which they were managing their Project costing and tracking which were the most pain point of their business. Also they wanted a system on which they can track their purchasing and inventory as well as they wanted a complete HR solution as per Saudi Labor Law. For this reason, we took over a project with the Odoo Development. Before the project started, we organized a two-day workshop in Head Office, which served to develop suitable solutions together with the customer. He showed us the existing system and their working style and we did the Gap analysis and recommend them best practice.

What is interesting about this project?

As per their business, their workflow was very critical and interesting in the way of tracking the material and cost and they have 2 types of Bill of Quantities which they requested to import and compute in system. Also the attendance management system was implemented and linked on a centralized server which we integrated with odoo.sh and handle it through daily based schedulers. Each requirement were so deep and unique in nature which required customization.

What was customized and implemented in Odoo?

1- Considering the technical side of the project, the interesting part was integration between the Attendance server and Odoo.sh which we developed ourselves.

2- The BOQ workflow and its affect on Accounting module and tracking with Purchase order as per defined budget.

3- The import templates for BOQ and JE (more than 50000 entries) and handle the data with proper QA and right impacts on reports.

4- HR Customization in Employee and Contracts as per KSA Labor Law.

5- Recruitment, Loan management, Deductions, Rewards, Air Tickets, EOS, Family data management, Appraisal forms and custom calculations,Attendance computation as per Labor Law policies.

6- Leaves management and policies as per Labor Law and its calculation with ticket request, payment for leaves and Leave return for the reconciliation with requested leaves.

7- Chart of account and analytical account by hierarchical wise.

8- Asset management with Capital expense and its impact on existing asset on running state.

9- Financial Year closing with automated closing and opening Journal entries.

10- Deferred Revenue and Expense Management for prepaid expenses and government related expenses.
